   Birds don't work well.

   I have both the bird and cat versions of these watering globes. Interestingly, the bird one doesn’t seem to work as effectively, possibly due to design differences.

   The bird design is picturesque, but filling them with water through the narrow straw can be challenging. They are worth the effort for their aesthetic value in plant pots.
